Lisa Metrikin is a writer, mom and travel advisor obsessed with immersive, profound and tasteful travel experiences. Raised by parents who prioritized travel, Lisa spent much of her younger years traveling the world and living in far-flung places. When she was home, she was traveling, as Jhumpa Lahiri said, “without moving an inch” by reading obsessively. As an adult, she has lived all over North America, from New York to LA to Toronto to Palo Alto. In addition to her work as a travel advisor, Lisa is a fiction writer, a former Editor-in-Chief of an award-winning literary magazine and a creative writing instructor (ask about her favorite travel reads!). As a mom, Lisa understands the pain points of traveling with kids at any age, and knows how to make family travel as seamless and fun as it should be. She’s passionate about making any trip — whether it's an all-inclusive in Mexico or a bucket-list trip to New Zealand — more meaningful, more memorable and more joyful.
